Loyal League vs Laylo
Last updated: 2 August 2026
Laylo is a well-built tool and a lot of artists are happy with it. It is genuinely strong at SMS, Instagram DMs, pre-saves and AI-assisted messaging — none of which Loyal League does today. Where the two diverge is architecture: Laylo is artist-first, with Shared Access and Enterprise layered on for labels and management companies. Loyal League is built roster-first. If you run one project, Laylo may well be the better fit. If you run a roster, read on.
The short version
- Roster-first by design. Loyal League models a label: one account, many artists, shared fan database, per-artist public pages. Laylo’s architecture is artist-first; label features are a wrapper on top.
- 0% of fan revenue. Memberships and drop sales run through your own Stripe account. We take nothing beyond your monthly subscription; Stripe’s own processing fees still apply. Laylo charges a subscription plus per-message fees for SMS and DM sends.
- Export on every tier. Full CSV and JSON export of fans, events and purchases, on the cheapest plan, with no support ticket. Laylo also states your data is yours and offers export.
- Laylo wins on channels. SMS, Instagram DMs, pre-saves and AI tooling are all things Laylo does today and we do not.

Who should pick which
Pick Laylo if you are one artist or a small team around one artist, SMS or Instagram DMs are how you talk to fans, and pre-saves are a fixed part of every release cycle.
Pick Loyal League if you run several artists, you want one fan database across the whole roster, you sell drops or memberships and would rather keep 100% of that revenue in your own Stripe account, and you want your data exportable on day one.
Plenty of labels run both. Nothing about Loyal League stops you using Laylo for SMS — export your Laylo audience and import the CSV into Loyal League to keep one master list.
